A few days ago I got tired of my really bad ends, and so I tied them in a ponytail and chopped the ponytail off. That was about 10cm of hair, and after that I have to fix my ends cause they were (ofcourse...) unbalanced. On an average I think I lost around 12-15cm of hair! 

I tend to get really impulsive when making decisions regarding my looks, and so I don't have the patience to reserve a time for a hair dresser and so on (plus the hairdressers always cut too much, if you ask me). Another good thing about home hairdressing is that if you fail, you can only be mad at yourself and that would be pointless right? I've been dyeing and cutting my hair for the past few years mainly by myself, and so far I've been quite pleased. Now my hair feels much thicker and healthier as the bad ends are gone, so no regrets this time either - they will have the time to grow back before my graduation photos, and my hair is still quite long regardless of the cutting.

I actually want an ever shorter hairdo, but I'm going to wait until school is completely over for that!

Muutama päivä sitten kyllästyin täysin huonossa kunnossa oleviin latvoihini, joten sidoin ne ponnarilla kiinni ja leikkasin koko ponnarin irti. Siinä oli noin 10 senttiä hiusta, jonka jälkeen korjailin vielä latvoja sillä ne olivat (tietenkin...) epäsymmetriset sen jälkeen. Yhteensä hiusta lähti siis arviolta n. 12-15 senttiä!

Olen usein todella impulsiivinen tehdessäni päätöksiä ulkonäköni suhteen, joten minulla ei riitä kärsivällisyyttä esimerkiksi kampaajan varaamiseen ja niin edelleen (sitäpaitsi kampaajat leikkaavat aina liikaa, jos minulta kysytään). Kotiparturoinnissa on myös se hyvä puoli, että epäonnistuessaan voi syyttää vain itseään ja sehän olisi täysin turhaa, eikö vain? Olenkin tässä nyt muutaman vuoden ajan lähinnä itse leikannut ja värjännyt hiukseni, ja ihan tyytyväinen olen ollut. Nyt hiukseni tuntuvat paljon paksummilta ja terveemmiltä huonojen latvojen poistuessa, joten eipä kaduta taaskaan - ne ehtivät kuitenkin kasvaa vielä ennen valmistujaiskuvia, ja hiukseni ovat edelleen melko pitkät leikkaamisen jälkeenkin. 

Haluaisin itse asiassa vielä lyhyemmät hiukset, mutta se saa jäädä siihen asti kunnes lukio on kokonaan ohi!
