Today's outfit as we went to have dinner to celebrate my dad's 50th birthday. We've had some big parties this month since half of our family has their birthday, and next week I'll be celebrating my dear friend on her adulthood.  After that we could perhaps have a little break...

The velvet dress is old, I got it back in 9th grade for a really good discount. It's actually longer, but the 15-year-old me pinned it up and so the hem became poofy at the same time. I like the length better this way, since I am so short so I think it fits better. Any opinions on the outfit?

Päivän asu, kun lähdimme ulos syömään isäni 50-vuotispäivän kunniaksi. Tässä kuussa on tullut juhlittua runsaasti, sillä puolet perheestämme täyttää vuosia juuri nyt. Ensi viikolla juhlitaan vielä rakkaan ystäväni täysi-ikäistymistä (pus Anski jos luet tätä!), ja sen jälkeen voitaisiinki pitää pieni tauko...

Samettimekko on vanha, ostin sen jo 9. luokalla huimalla alennuksella. Mekko on oikeastaan pidempi, mutta 15-vuotias minäni lyhensi sitä hakaneuloilla ja samalla siitä tulikin mukavan muhkea. Itse pidän lyhyemmästä helmasta, sillä olen muutenkin niin lyhyt. Mitä mieltä siellä ollaan asusta?

Hi again! 

On Friday the 13th we had the annual IB Baptism, and as the eldest of the Programme we got to dress up as angels. The dress is an old one from Gina Tricot, the heels are from Zara, golden earrings from H&M and the tiny wings are from the masquerade shop. I had a really good time, thanks to all my lovely classmates and a great afterparty - too bad this will be my last baptism, unless I show up to the one next year. 

Any opinions on my humble angel costume?

Perjantai 13. päivä meillä oli vuotuinen IB baptismi, ja koulun vanhimpina saimme kunnian pukeutua enkeleiksi. Mekko on Gina Tricotista muutama vuosi sitten ostettu, kengät ovat Zarasta, kultaiset korvarenkaat H&M:stä ja pikkusiivet ovat Punanaamiosta. Itse viihdyin erittäin hyvin koko illan, kiitos ihanille luokkakavereille ja mahtaville afterparteylle - harmi vaan että kyseessä oli viimeinen baptismimme, ellen sitten ilmaannu paikalle myös ensi vuonna. 

 Mitään mielipiteitä yksinkertaisesta enkeliasustani?

A little outfit I tried on today. I got this hair bun donut for my hair probably a year ago, but my hair wasn't long enough for the size of the donut I got. Now I decided to try it again, and my dear friend did my hair with it. I think it looks really good, I should definitely use it more often now - it makes school morning so much easier on a bad hair day!

The sweater is new, and I got it from Members.com for a bit over 10 euros, which is not bad at all. I really like it, thought I must say it brings me some Where's Waldo?-vibes.

Any opinions on the outfit?

Tänään sovittamaa asuani. Ostin tämän nutturavalkin jo varmaan vuosi sitten, mutta hiukseni eivät olleet silloin tarpeeksi paksut ja pitkät ostamaani valkkia varten. Nyt päätin kokeilla sitä taas, ja rakas ystäväni laittoi hiukseni sillä. Mielestäni ne näyttävät mahtavalta, pitäisi ehdottomasti ottaa arkikäyttöön - kouluaamut helpottuvat huomattavasti huonojen hiuspäivien varalta!

Neulepusero on muuten uusi, tilasin sen Members.comista hiukan yli 10 eurolla, mikä ei ole ollenkaan paha hinta. Pidän siitä kovasti, vaikka siitä tuleekin kovasti Waldo-viboja.

As I am writing this text I have finally reached the adult age of 18, and I must say that I feel great! 

I've had the best weekend ever, including dinner with my dearest friends, bars and even a little houseparty amongst schoolmates. 

I've gotten better gifts than what I dared to dream of, including a beautiful vest from Zara that I've craved for a while now, a tattoo giftcard with a really generous amount of money (can't wait to get inked next!), a drawing of myself and some alcohol beverages. 

 I must now thank all my friends and classmates, they are simply the best. 

Täällä kirjoittelee nyt 18-vuotias "aikuinen nainen", ja voin sanoa että fiilis on hyvä! 

Ihana viikonloppu ollut takana, sisältäen muunmuassa illallista rakkaimpien ystävien kanssa, baareilua sekä vielä pienet kotibileet koululaisten kesken. 

Olen saanut parempia lahjoja kuin mistä uskalsin edes unelmoida, muunmuassa Zaran aivan ihanan toppaliivin mitä olen kuolannut jo pienen ikuisuuden, tatuointi-lahjakortin oikein anteliaalla summalla, piirustuksen itsestäni sekä runsaasti alkoholipitoista juotavaa. 

Kiitos tästä kuuluu tietenkin ihanille ystävilleni sekä koulukavereille, he nyt ovat yksinkertaisesti parhaimpia.

New darlings I actually got last month already, but I completely forgot to show them off here. 

The grey t-shirt is just so classic with the little mesh-details, and I'm in love with the red laced cropped top from Bik Bok - I might just wear it tomorrow on my very special day.

As you may or may not know, I have my 18th birthday tomorrow and I am beyond excited! 

It feels so strange that the age I have been waiting for ever since I was a teenager comes tomorrow. How fast time flies huh? 

My rest of the week is fully booked with all kinds of birthday fun, can't wait! 

Any opinions on the newcomers?

Uudet rakkaat mitkä tuli oikeastaan jo viime kuun lopulla ostettua, mutta unohdin täysin esitellä niitä täällä.

Harmaa t-paita on kaikessa yksinkertaisuudessaan ihana mesh-yksityiskohtineen, ja olen täysin rakastunut Bik Bokista ostettuun punaiseen pitsitoppiin - taidampa pistää sen huomisen erikoispäivää varten päälle.

Kuten ehkä tiedättekin, täytän huomenna 18 vuotta ja olen enemmän kuin innoissani!

Tuntuu niin oudolta että ikä, mitä olen odottanu teini-ikäisestä asti tulee huomenna. Miten nopeasti aika lentääkin?

Loppuviikkoni onkin täyteen buukattu kaikenlaisilla synttäri-huveilla, en malta odottaa!

Started off this month with a new haircolor! 

I got really tired of the ombre, especially when I noticed a weird third shade of colour in the middle and I have no idea where it has comed from. Anyways, they are now all gone and I couldn't be happier - black is my favourite color, also with hair. 

Any opinions on my new hair? 

Kuukausi alkoi uudella hiusvärillä! 

Aloin todella kyllästyä ombreen, varsinkin kun huomasin hiuksistani vielä oudon kolmannen sävyn, jonka alkuperästä minulla ei ole mitään tietoa. Ne ovat kuitenkin nyt onnellisesti takana enkä voisi olla tyytyväisempi - musta kun on lempivärini, myös hiuksissa.
