My mom and I have had a table at our nearby flee market for the past two weeks now (and I'll be having my own table starting next week, yay!), and so we go there regularly to check on our stuff and clean things up. 

I usually always find some clothes to buy, but now I think I might have made the best finding ever in history - these Miss Piggy Stan Smith's are so ridiculous and not my style that I just knew I had to get them, since no one else would appreciate them the way I do. They're not even my size, but I don't care! 

As you guys can see they are a little bit dirty, so I'm just gonna fresh them up a bit before wearing them. 

  Can't wait to post some outfit photos with these, stay tuned!

Guess who got a job today and is starting tomorrow? Me me me! Finally my months and months of unemployment (regardless of a few job gigs here and there) is over, and I feel so relieved. Now I can stress about my finances a little less and enjoy life a little more. 

Here's an outfit from two weeks ago on Thursday when we had a family dinner before I took off to Helsinki - the dress was bought from the FB flea market 3 euros, lucky me! What do you guys think about the outfit?

Arvatkaapa kuka sai töitä tänään ja aloittaa huomenna? Minä minä minä! Vihdoinkin kuukausia kestänyt työttömyyteni (lukuunottamatta muutamia kesän työkeikkoja) on ohi, ja voin taas stressata rahatilannettani vähemmän ja nauttia elämästäni hieman enemmän - helpotuksen tunne on sanoinkuvaamaton.

Tässä asukuvaa muutaman viikon takaa torstailta, kun oltiin perheen kanssa ulkona syömässä ennen lähtöäni Helsinkiin. Mekko löytyi FB kirppikseltä 3 eurolla, voi mikä tuuri! Mitä mieltä siellä ollaan asusta?

How gorgeous is this cherry blossom dress? I got it from the FB flea market for thirteen euros when the original price was thirty, as I was going to buy it from the store when it came out this spring. A super bargain for sure, I am so pleased! Together with curly hair, fringe wedges and golden accessories this outfit is ready for all kinds of occassions of the summer. What do you guys think? 

Kuinka upea onkaan tämä kirsikkapuun kukilla koristeltu mekko? Ostin tämän FB-kirppikseltä kolmellatoista eurolla kun sen normaalihinta oli kolmekymmentä euroa, sillä meinasin ostaa sen kaupasta kun se tuli tänä keväänä ulos. Superlöytö taas, joten olen enemmän kuin tyytyväinen! Kiharien hiusten, hapsukiilakorkojen sekä kultaisten korujen kanssa tämä asu on valmis kesän kaikkiin rientoihin. Mitä mieltä siellä ollaan?

Hi guys!

Finals are starting tomorrow and I'm feeling rather exited and motivated. 

I know I haven't been studying as much as I should had, but whatever happens I'm still going to be proud of how far I've come and what I've achieved so far. Not everyone makes it this far (especially if you are as lazy as I am...), fingers crossed everything goes well!

Here is yesterday's outfit, as I wanted to try out my new wedge sneakers I got from Huuto.net while posting some stuff - I remember looking at these at the store, but thought they were ridiculously expensive (between 70 and 80 euros) for a pair of non-branded sneakers so I skipped. Now I got them 2nd hand for 18 euros plus postages, so not bad at all! What do you guys think?

The midi rings are new and from sales, I just love them!

Mulla alkaa huomenna IB-lukion kirjoitukset, ja olo on melko jännittynyt mutta motivoitunut. Tiedän, että en ole opiskellut niin paljon kuin mitä olisi pitänyt, mutta kävi miten kävi niin tulen silti olemaan ylpeä siitä miten pitkälle olen päässyt ja mitä olen saavuttanut tähän mennessä. Ei kaikki pääse näin pitkälle (varsinkaan jos on yhtä laiska kuin minä...), joten peukut pystyyn että kaikki menee hyvin!

Tässä vähän eilisen asua, sillä halusin kokeilla uusia kiilakorkolenkkareitani mitkä bongasin Huuto.netistä postaessani omia juttuja myyntiin - muistan katselleeni näitä kaupassa, mutta mielestäni ne olivat järjettömän kalliit "merkittömiksi" lenkkareiksi (hinta oli muistaakseni 70-80 euron välillä), joten jätin väliin. Nyt löysin nämä vähän käytettyinä hintaan 18 euroa plus postikulut, joten ei ollenkaan huono! Mitä mieltä siellä ollaan?

Midisormukset ovat uusia ja löytyivät alesta kokonaisena pakettina, rakastan!

Outfit for this terribly rainy Monday, which turned my luscious curls into boring waves. Blah! Otherwise the day was fine, as I stopped by at school and did some studying at the library. 

I've done some really good 2nd hand-shoppings lately, but this black jacket with a beautiful fur collar is by far the best one this year - it is new and never worn, and I got it for 20 euros after some bargaining (the seller asked for 25€). I've been dreaming about getting a black fur collar to attack to my jackets, but I won't be needing that anymore since I got this. Lovelovelove! 

What do you guys think about my new jacket and the outfit in general? 

Asu tälle masentavan sateiselle maanantaille, mikä muutti ihanat kiharani tylsiksi laineiksi. Blaah! Päivä oli muuten aika mainio, sillä käväisin nopeasti koulussa ja opiskelin kirjastossa. 

Olen tehnyt melko mahtavia kirppislöytöjä viime aikoina, mutta tämä musta takki upealla karvakauluksella on ehdottomasti tämän vuoden parhaimpia löytöjä - ostin sen uutena ja täysin käyttämättömänä 20 eurolla pienen tinkimisen jälkeen (myyjä pyysi 25€). Olen haaveillut mustan turkiskaulurin ostamisesta takkien päivittämistä varten, mutta se ei ole enää tarpeen tämän ihanuuden jälkeen. Rakkautta!

I've had great success this month in selling my old clothes and earning some money, and so I of course had to get new ones for the upcoming spring! Here are some purchases of mine;

I know it might be a little early for bikinishopping, but once you find good ones you just have to get them! 

These lovelies from H&M just got me with the bright red color and the bandeau-top, which is my favorite in bikinis.

Bikinisesonki ei ehkä ole ihan vielä täällä, mutta pitäähän hyvät bikinit ostaa heti kun ne löytää!
Nämä H&M:n ihanuudet ihastuttivat värillään ja rypytetyllä bandeau-yläosalla, mikä on ehdoton suosikkini bikineissä.

 Union Jack-laced top (originally from Zara) and Boy London-sweater are from the FB flea market, in which I sold my own clothes too. I don't shop from there that much anymore, but sometimes I find some really good bargains like I did now - both of them were in new/almost new condition!

Union Jack-kuvioitu pitsitoppi (alunperin Zarasta) sekä Boy Londonin pusero ovat samasta FB-kirppikseltä kuin missä itse myyn. En ole hetkeen shoppaillut kirppikseltä, mutta välillä tulee tehtyä yhtä hyviä löytöjä kuin mitä nytkin - molemmat vaatteet ovat nimittäin uusia/uudenveroisessa kunnossa!

 

Cubus 19,95€

I really seldom buy clothes from Cubus, but this shirt was love at first sight due to the awesome print (my lucky number on the back!) and so I just couldn't resist it. Like I've mentioned before,  I love everything 90's hiphop/basketball-related when it comes to clothing at the moment.

Ostan todella harvoin vaatteita Cubuksesta kun ne eivät vain ole yleensä omaan makuuni, mutta tämä paita oli rakkautta ensisilmäyksellä ihanan printtinsä vuoksi (onnennumeroni selässä!), joten en vain voinut vastustaa. Rakastan kaikkea ysäriluvun hiphop-kulttuuriin ja koripalloon liittyvää vaatetuksessa juuri nyt, kuten olenkin täällä aikaisemmin maininnut.

The biggest purchase was however a 2-day ticket to Weekend Festival (Calvin Harris, here I come! finally), which is why I am so broke right now. Thankfully I was at work on both Friday and Saturday, so next month will start a little better again...

 Any opinions on the new stuff?

Suurin investointini oli kuitenkin 2 päivän lippu Weeken Festivaliin (Calvin Harris, täältä tullaan! vihdoin ja viimein), minkä vuoksi olen tällä hetkellä aivan pennitön. Onneksi olin juuri koko viikonlopun töissä, joten ensi kuu alkaa taas vähän paremmin...

My dear friend was cleaning her closet, and I got a great chance to expand mine by getting some of her old clothes for a great bargain. Both the striped blouse and the studded cluth are originally from Zara, and I remember admiring them at the store. Now there mine and I couldn't be more pleased! 

Any opinions on the "new" things in? 

Rakas ystäväni siivosi vaatekaappiaan, mikä oli itselleni hyvä tilaisuus saada osa hänen vanhoista vaatteistaan itselleni hyvään hintaan. Sekä raidallinen paita että niitticlutch ovat alunperin Zarasta, ja muistan aikoinaan ihailleeni niitä myös kaupassa. Nyt ne ovat molemmat minun, enkä voisi olla tyytyväisempi! 

Mitään mielipiteitä vaatekaapin "uutuuksista"?

I went thrift shopping on the previous week's Saturday, since I had a table at a local flea market. I got nearly 200 euros for only one week, which I was really positively surprised about! While packing my stuff together I did a small tour around the tables, and managed to find some really nice things for a bargain. Here's what I found: 

Olin kirppistelemässä edellisviikon lauantaina, sillä minulla oli pöytä Manhattanin Kirppis-Centerillä. Sain lähes 200 euroa yhdestä viikosta, mistä olin erittäin positiivisesti yllättynyt! Kerätessäni myymättä jääneitä tavaroitani kiersin koko kirppiksen läpi, ja onnistuin tekemään todella kivoja löytöjä halvalla. Tässä löytöni: Navy blue sweater with golden zipper and USA flag (originally from Gina Tricot), 3 euros 

I just really liked this sweater, even though blue has never really been my color and I don't think I even own any other clothing in blue except for denim jeans. This was already seen on yesterday's post! 

Tykästyin tähän puseroon kovasti, vaikka sininen ei ole koskaan ollut lempivärini vaatetuksen suhteen, eikä minulla taidakaan olla mitään sinistä kaapissa farkkuja lukuunottamatta. Tämä olikin jo päällä eilisen postauksessa! Blue tulip-shaped skirt (originally from Gina Tricot), 4 euros 

I was really happy to find this skirt originally from Gina, since this is my favourite skirt of all time - I just to have one in black, but it became too small for me so I sold it. Then I got one in white which fits perfectly, and so does this one. I hope I could still find more of these in other colors in the future as well! 

Olin todella iloinen kun löysin tämän alunperin Ginasta olleen tulppaanihameen, sillä tämä malli on kaikkien aikojen suosikkini - minulla oli tämä sama hame mustana, mutta se alkoi olla vähän pieni joten myin sen eteenpäin. Sitten ostin samanlaisen valkoisena ja täysin sopivankokoisena, ja nyt löysin tämän. Toivottavasti löydän jatkossakin tätä ihanaa hametta muissakin väreissä! 

Light blue denim shorts (originally from Zara), 1 euro 

These shorts were really a great bargain, since they fit just perfectly and are in super condition! 

 Nämä shortsit olivat todellinen löytö, sillä ne istuvat täydellisesti ja ovat mahtavassa kunnossa! 

Golden earrings (originally from H&M & Primark), 50 cents/pair 

I was super excited to find these earrings, since I've actually been craving for thin golden hoop earrings for a while already. The other golden ones are cute as well, they kind of remind me of Esmeralda. 

Olin superinnoissani kun löysin nämä korvikset, sillä olen oikeastaan jo jonkin aikaa himoinnut ohuita kultaisia korvarenkaita. Toiset kultakorvikset ovat myöskin söpöt, ja niistä tulee ainakin itselleni mieleen Esmeralda. 

I was really happy with the things I found, they were really cheap to consider their condition and just clothing that I will definitely use in the future. What do you guys think? 

Olin todella tyytyväinen kirppissaaliini, sillä kaikki oli edullista kuntoihinsa nähden, ja ostokseni olivat sellaisia mitä tulen ehdottomasti käyttämään jatkossakin. Mitä mieltä siellä ollaan?

Finally an outfit post, I can't even remember when was the last one! 

One of my favorite feelings in the world is wearing new clothes for the first time, and this time my whole outfit is new. Lovely peplum shirt and the best jeans in the world are from Bik Bok's opening sales, and the amazing eagle statement necklace I bought from a schoolmate. The boots are also new, I bought them yesterday but I'll introduce them later with the other pair I got aswell. 

What do you guys think about my all-new outfit? 

Vihdoinkin uutta asupostausta, en edes muista koska tälläinen tuli viimeksi! 

Yksi suosikkitunteistani on se, kun käyttää uutta vaatetta ensimmäistä kertaa. Tällä kertaa koko asuni oli uusi - ihana peplumpaita ja maailman parhaimmat farkut tarttuivat Bik Bokin avajaisista, ja upean kotka statement-korun ostin koulukaverilta. Saappaat ovat myös uudet, ostin ne eilen mutta esittelen ne myöhemmin paremmin toisen ostamani kenkäparin kanssa.

The dangers of selling and buying on Facebook; it's just as addictive as Facebook itself.

All clothes from FB flea market between 5-7 euros, the shoes I traded with a faux leather jacket I was selling. Don't worry, I'm not done yet. There's more to come!

Vaara vaatteiden ostamisessa ja myymisessä Facebookissa; se on ihan yhtä addiktoivaa kuin itse Facebook. 

Kaikki vaatteet FB kirppikseltä 5-7 euron väliltä, kengät sain kun vaihdoin ne erääseen myynnissä olevaani tekonahkatakkiin. Ja älkää huoliko, tämä ei ollut tässä. Lisää on tulossa aivan varmasti!

Today's outfit. New blouse and denim shorts from the FB flea market. The blouse was 2 euros and the shorts were 6 euros. Probably the best things I've bought from there so far! What do you think?

A few months ago I found this great group on Facebook where people around my living area were selling, donating and trading their old things such as furniture, books, movies and my absolute favourites - clothes. After some hesitation I was brave enough to join the group last week, and now I am so happy I did it since finding and buying things are made so easy there. I have always been a fan of recycling clothes, and ever since junior high I've been selling my old clothes online to gain some money for new ones. I have also been able to sell some of my old clothes there, so basically everything I bought were just traded to new things. Here's some things I've found from this group;

Muutama kuukausi sitten löysin mahtavan ryhmän Facebookista, missä kaikki asuinalueellani olevat myivät, lahjoittivat, ja vaihtoivat vanhoja tavaroitaan kuten huonekaluja, kirjoja, elokuvia ja omia lemppareitani - vaatteita. Pienen empimisen jälkeen olin tarpeeksi rohkea liittymään ryhmään viime viikolla, ja täytyy sanoa että olen varsin tyytyväinen päätökseeni. Hyväkuntoisten, ellei uudenveroisten vaatteiden ostaminen ja löytäminen on vain niin helppoa kunhan vain jaksaa etsiä! Olen aina suosinut vaatteiden kierrätystä, ja yläkoulusta asti olen myynyt vanhoja vaatteitani netissä saadakseni rahaa ostaa uusia. Kyseisessä ryhmässä olen onnistunut myymään vanhoja vaatteitani, joten periaatteessa kaikki mitä olen ostanut on vain vaihdettu vanhojen vaatteideni kanssa. Tässä muutamia juttuja mitä olen löytänyt tästä ryhmästä;
