Some outfit photos my dad took this morning before I ran off to school. I have no idea why I'm so much smaller in the first picture, I guess my dad had time to move before I switched positions.

I liked my outfit otherwise, but I must confess one thing: I really don't like sweaters! 

I like how they look and how soft they are, but I can't help but feeling suffocated whenever I'm wearing one, especially with an all-buttoned shirt. You can only imagine how fast I changed when I got home...it's funny how much people are ready to cope with in order to look good.

As you can see from the photos, snow has finally landed (again...)! I am so happy, hopefully there will be much more to come before Christmas - nothing better than a White Christmas.

Regardless of my issues with comfortability, what do you guys think about the outfit?

Muutama isäni ottama asukuva tältä aamulta ennen kuin kiirehdin kouluun. En tiedä yhtään miksi olen niin paljon pienempi ensimmäisessä kuvassa, ehkä isäni vaihtoi paikkaa sillä välin kun itse vaihdoin asentoa.

Pidin päivän asustani muuten, mutta tähän väliin täytyy tunnustaa eräs asia: en oikeastaan pidä neuleista!

Pidän siitä, miltä neuleet näyttävät ja siitä miten pehmeitä ne ovat, mutta en voi sietää sitä kiristävää ja tukehduttavaa tunnetta mikä mulla on niitä käyttäessä, varsinkin tänään ylös asti napitetun paidan kanssa. Voitte vain kuvitella miten nopeasti vaihdoin asua heti kun pääsin kotiin...on hassua, miten paljon ihmiset ovat valmiita kestämään ulkonäön vuoksi.

Ja kuten kuvista saattaakin huomata, lumi on vihdoinkin laskenut (taas...)! Olen niin tyytyväinen, toivottavasti lisää on tulossa vielä ennen joulua - ei ole mitään parempaa kuin valkoinen joulu.

Mitä mieltä siellä ollaan asusta?

Today's outfit. Sorry for the quality, it was already getting dark when I got home to take these pictures. 

I really liked the girlyness of this outfit - the lace skirt is already a few year's old, I bought it from the kid's section of Lindex. It has a zipper in front but today I decided to wear it on the back, it made the skirt look quite different. 

I'm so happy that I can still wear my Jeffrey's at this time of the year  - usually snow is already on the ground. Let's hope that snow will come before Christmas though, I hate how dark it is outside!

What do you think about today's outfit?

Päivän asu. Pahoittelen huonoa laatua, alkoi olla jo pimeää kun pääsin kotiin ottamaan nämä kuvat.

Pidin kovasti asuni tyttömäisyydestä - pitsihame on jo muutaman vuoden vanha, ostin sen Lindexin lastenosastolta. Siinä on vetoketju edessä mutta päätin tänään kääntää sen taakse, mikä sai hameen näyttämään melko erilaiselta.

Mitä mieltä te olette päivän asusta?

Olen niin iloinen että voin käyttää Jeffreyjäni vielä tähän aikaan vuodesta - yleensä lumi olisi jo maassa.

Toivotaan kuitenkin että lumi saapuu ennen Joulua, inhoan tuota pimeyttä!

Maison Martin Margiela H&M and other thoughts of the visiting designers

I know these X designer for H&M - lines are always all over the blogs, but I just had to have my own comment about the collaboration and the thoughts gained from it;

Tiedän, että nämä Suunnittelija X for H&M - mallistot ovat aina kuumimpia puheenaiheita kaikissa blogeissa, mutta en vain voinut vastustaa kirjoittaa tästä yhteistyöstä ja sen aiheuttamista ajatuksista;

Pieni kollaasi minkä tein muutamista malliston tuotteista

I don't know about you guys, but in my personal opinion the past two or three big clothing collections (implying Lanvin, Marni and now MMM) is that they have been a little too "high fashion" for the ordinary friends of clothing - a lot of the products in the collections look like they've come straight from the catwalk and even though these are sold for an exclusive H&M price, many of the products are quite pricey (200 euros and up) for the average consumer.
It's hard to talk about other countries or even cities as I have not experienced them regarding this subject, but I remember clearly how here in Turku some of the clothes and jewelry of Marni for H&M were months after release still in the stores with a huge discount, and yet they didn't go anywhere. I'm sure there are still numerous people interested in these clothes that for example MMM has to offer, but lately I've felt that H&M has given a little too free hands for the designers to make whatever they want, and unfortunately some of the things created are not exactly the ones you can see or imagine too people wearing down the streets, for example this jacket.
Don't get me wrong here; of course I think it's good for the designers that they get to express themselves in the best way, but I can't help but to wonder how much does H&M gain from this. Maybe in other countries the clothes are still extremely popular and sold out, but from what I've seen here I just don't think it's been worthwhile for these couple collaborations.

On the positive side, I must say that even though the clothes of MMM are not exactly "my cup of tea", I just love the shoes with the plastic heel! Also the white sneakers are amazing, not the mention the candy wrap-clutches in both pink (as in the collage) and silver. Unfortunately these aren't exactly to my budget, so I'll just keep on dreaming...

What do you guys think about the collections H&M has had lately, does anyone agree with me? 

And most importantly, what do you think about MMM H&M?

En tiedä teistä, mutta oma henkilökohtainen mielipiteeni kahdesta tai kolmesta viimeisimmästä suuresta kokoelmasta (tarkoittaen Lanvinia, Marnia sekä nyt MMM:aa) on se, että ne ovat olleet hieman liian "high fashion" vaatteiden tavallisille ystäville - monet tuotteista näyttävät siltä kuin ne olisivat tulleet suoraan catwalkilta, ja vaikka tuotteita myydään erikoiseen H&M hintaan ne ovat silti melko hintavia (tarkoittaen 200 euroa ja ylöspäin) keskivertokuluttajalle.

On vaikea puhua muista maista tai jopa kaupungeista sillä en ole kokenut asiaa liittyen tähän aiheeseen, mutta muistan selkeästi miten täällä Turussa jotkut Marnin vaatteet ja korut olivat kuukausia malliston saapumisenkin jälkeen myynnissä jättimäisellä alennuksella, ja siltikään ne eivät menneet kaupaksi. Olen varma, että maailmassa on silti lukuisia ihmisiä jotka ovat kiinnostuneet näistä vaatteista mitä esimerkiksi MMM:lla on tarjottavana, mutta viime aikoina minusta on tuntunut siltä että H&M on antanut ehkä hieman liiankin vapaat kädet suunnitteilijoille jotka tekevät mitä haluavat, ja valitettavasti osa luomuksista eivät ole ihan sitä mitä voisit nähdä ja kuvitella meidän tavallisten pulliaisten käyttävän kadulla, esimerkiksi tämä takki. 

Älkää ymmärtäkö minua väärin; tottakai mielestäni on mahtavaa, että suunnittelijat saavat toteuttaa itseään ja näyttämään omat piirteensä, mutta en voi muuta kuin ihmetellä kuinka paljon H&M hyötyy tästä. Ehkä muissa maissa nämä vaatteet ovat huippusuosittuja ja revitään käsistä, mutta sen perusteella mitä olen täällä nähnyt niin en koe, että nämä viimeaikaiset yhteistyömallistot ovat olleet kaiken vaivan arvoisia.

Positiivisuuden nimissä minun täytyy sanoa, että vaikka nämä MMM:n vaatteet eivät olekaan ihan täysin oma juttuni niin olen aivan hulluna noihin kenkiin missä on läpinäkyvät muovikorot! Myös valkoiset lenkkarit ovat aivan upeat, puhumattakaan karkkipaperi-clutcheista mitkä löytyy sekä pinkkinä (kuten kollaasissa) että hopeisena. Valitettavasti nämä ovat hieman yli budjettini, joten jatkan unelmointia...

Mitä mieltä te olette H&M:n viimeaikaisista yhteistyömallistoista, onko kukaan samaa mieltä kanssani?

Hello everyone and happy Monday! 

Today has been a short yet demanding day, as I had two exams. The history exam went well, whereas the biology exam could have gone better...the main point is that they're both over so now I can just sit back and relax! We don't have exam weeks in IB, so those were basically the last exams I had to do for this period. Yay! 

Wearing my favourite leopard shirt and my favourite watch with my new favourite jeans. The boots are also a favourite regarding their comfortness. Easy to say that I really liked outfit today, as simple as it was. 

Moikka kaikille ja mukavaa maanantaita! 

Tänään on ollut lyhyt mutta vaativa päivä koulussa, sillä minulla oli kaksi koetta. Historiankoe meni hyvin, kun taas bilsankoe olisi voinut mennä paremmin...pääpointti on kuitenki se että ne ovat molemmat ohi joten nyt voin vaan ottaa rennosti! Meillä ei ole IB:llä lukion tavallisia koeviikkoja, joten nuo olivat periaatteessa viimeiset kokeet tältä jaksolta. Jes! 

Päällä tänään lempileopardikuvioitu paitani sekä lempikelloni lempifarkkujeni kanssa. Saappaat ovat myös lempparit jos puhutaan niiden mukavuudesta. Voin siis sanoa että pidin kovasti päivän asustani, niin yksinkertainen kuin se onkin.

I ordered a free sample of Elle magazine so now I'm going to spend the rest of the evening reading this. It's been a few years since the last time I read Elle, let's see has it changed at all. 

Tilasin ilmaisen näytteen Elle-lehdestä joten loppuilta meneekin tämän parissa. Siitä on jo muutama vuosi kun viimeksi luin Elleä, saa nähdä onko tämä muuttunut yhtään.

I found this beautiful neon yellow lace shirt from the blog danlovesyou, and I just couldn't resist buying the same one as soon as I saw it. I was a huge fan of neon colours back in 7th grade, but after that I've tried my best to avoid it due to the traumas gained from my interesting outfits - maybe now it's finally time to pick up some bits and pieces from my old style. 

 I don't buy things from Seppälä very often (unless they are on sale), so this was definitely an exception. 

Löysin tämän kauniin neonkeltaisen pitsipaidan danlovesyou-blogista, enkä vaan voinut vastustaa ostamasta samaa paitaa heti kun näin sen. Olin neonvärien suuri ystävä joskus 7. luokalla, mutta sen jälkeen olen vältellyt kyseisiä värejä parhaani mukaan johtuen lievistä traumoista kaikista mielenkiintoisista asuistani - ehkä nyt on vihdoinkin aika palauttaa pieniä paloja vanhasta tyylistäni nykyiseen. 

En yleensä osta mitään Seppälästä kovinkaan usein (elleivät ne ole alennuksessa), joten tämä oli ehdottomasti myös pieni poikkeus.

New supercomfy black strecth jeans from Gina Tricot. I bought these on Thursday when Gina Tricot had its 5 years in Finland anniversary party, so that's why there was a discount as everything in the store was -30%. I also got the surprise gift that was given to the first 100 customers, it was a cute canvas bag and a sports waterbottle. Not bad, I say! 

Uudet supermukavat strectfarkut Ginasta. Ostin nämä torstaina, kun Gina Tricotilla oli 5 vuotta Suomessa-juhlansa, joten siksi sain nämä alennuksella sillä kaikki tuotteet liikkeessä olivat -30%. Sain myös liikkeen yllätyslahjan mikä annettin 100 ensimmäiselle asiakkaalle, söpön kangaskassin sekä urheilua varten tarkoitettu vesipullo. Ei huonompi juttu! 

Zara 19,95€ 

I coudn't believe my eyes when I saw these beautiful Zara heels for only 20 euros - normally high heels are at least 50 euros in Zara. And these were not even on sale! Without a doubt I bought these, they were even the last pair of my size left. 

En voinut uskoa silmiäni, kun näin nämä kauniit Zaran korkkarit vain 20 eurolla - normaalisti korkokengät ovat Zarassa vähintään 50 euroa. Ja nämä eivät olleet edes alennuksessa! Ilman epäilystä ostin nämä, sillä ne olivat kaiken lisäksi viimeinen pari minun koossani. 

So here are all the shoppings! I managed to find quite affordable things, and I even got some extra cash to buy some Christmas gifts (and no, it's not too early for that). What do you guys think about my shoppings?

Tässä siis kaikki ostokseni! Onnistuin löytämään melko kohtuuhintaisia juttuja, ja minulla jäi jopa hieman ylimääräistä joululahjojen ostoon (ja ei, nyt ei ole liian aikaista sellaiseen). Mitä mieltä te olette ostoksistani?

Happy Father's Day everyone!

Here's today's outfit as we're going to have dinner in just a minute. Wearing my favourite coat again and new dress that I found with my mom during the summer with a huge discount - original price was 49,95€, we paid 5 euros. Not bad, eh? Here's a better picture of the dress itself, I even managed to tie it the same way!

I must give a shoutout to my 13-year-old brother for taking these outfit pics, not bad for a first-timer. What do you guys think about the outfit?

Tässä päivän asu, olemme ihan juuri lähdössä illalliselle. Päällä taas lemppari karvatakkini ja uusi mekko minkä löysin äitini kanssa kesällä jättialennuksella - normaalihinta oli 49,95€, me maksoimme tästä 5 euroa. Ei paha, vai mitä? Tässä parempi kuva itse mekosta, onnistuin jopa sitomaan sen samalla tavalla!

New fur coat from H&M. I've been obsessing over this jacket for a while now, so I couldn't believe my luck when I found it 30% off. Probably the best thing I've bought for a while, pure love. I've got a few compliments over this coat during these two days that I've worn it, what do you guys think? 

Uusi turkistakki H&M:stä. Olen palvonut tätä takkia jo pienen ikuisuuden, joten en voinut uskoa tuuriani kun löysin sen 30% alennuksella. Outfit from yesterday. Sorry for looking a bit tired in the pictures, I literally spent the whole night doing my maths project. At the end of the day I spent 48 hours awake, you can only imagine that I basically passed out when I finally got into bed. School is hard, fortunately the weekends come so fast when you work hard.

 I really liked my today's outfit aswell, but sadly I didn't have time to take a picture of it as it was too dark when I finally came home.

I hope the snow isn't coming back anytime soon, I'm really not ready to give up on all my nice spring and fall boots - there cowboy boots are originally from Primark, but I found them at a flea market for only 4 euros a few years ago. What do you guys think about the outfit?

Asu eiliseltä. Pahoittelen väsynyttä naamaa, vietin kirjaimellisesti koko yön matikanprojektini parissa. Päivän päätteeksi olin ollut jo 48 tuntia hereillä, joten voitte vain kuvitella miten periaatteessa sammuin kun vihdoinkin pääsin nukkumaan. Koulu on rankkaa, onneksi viikonloput tulevat nopeasti kun tekee kovasti töitä!

Pidin kovasti myös tämän päivän asustani, mutta en valitettavasti ehtinyt ottaa kuvaa kun tuli jo liian pimeää kun pääsin vihdoinkin kotiin.

Toivottavasti lumi ei ole tulossa lähiaikoina, en ole vieläkään valmis luopumaan kaikista kivoista kevät- ja syyssaappoistani - nämä coyboy-tyyliset saappaat ovat alunperin Primarkista, mutta löysin ne kirppikseltä vain 4 eurolla muutama vuosi takaperin. Mitä mieltä siellä ollaan asusta?

Bought this black fringed bag a couple of weeks ago, but I completely forgot to show it to you guys. I've been looking for a basic black bag for weekend use, so finding this was a huge relief to my never-ending search. The bag is from Gina Tricot and costed 14,95€, what do you guys think? 

Ostin tämän mustan hapsulaukun muutama viikko sitten, mutta unohdin täysin näyttää sen teille. Olen etsinyt mustaa peruslaukkua viikonloppukäyttöön, joten tämän löytäminen oli suuri helpostus loputtomiin etsintöihini. Laukku on Gina Tricotista ja maksoi 14,95€, mitä mieltä siellä ollaan?

Some pictures of my costume (which isn't very hard to guess...) from last night's IB Halloween Party - the laced body and glitter high heels are from London's Primark, skirt is from Gina Tricot and all the bunny equiptment are from Taiwan. I really liked my costume since I thought it was cute and funny at the same time. I even managed to match my phone with my outfit, the bunny silicone case is from Taiwan aswell. What do you guys think about my costume?

Pari kuvaa asustani (mikä ei ole kovinkaan vaikeasti arvattavissa...) eilisillan IB Halloweenjuhlista - pitsibody ja glitteriset korkkarit ovat Lontoon Primarkista, hame Gina Tricotista sekä kaikki puputarvikkeet Taiwanista. Pidin paljon asustani, sillä mielestäni se oli söpö ja hauska samaan aikaan. Onnistuin jopa sovittamaan puhelimeni yhteen asuni kanssa, silikoninen pupukuori on myös Taiwanista. Mitä mieltä siellä ollaan ?
